IESB.net confirms that Matthew Goode has been cast as Adrien Veidt (Oxymandias). Goode is a 29 year old British actor with previous roles in 'Chasing Liberty', 'Match Point' & 'Copying Beethoven'.

Nothing against Goode, but what happened to Jude Law as Veidt? I thought that was great, considering he is a fan. I wonder if it was too cost prohibitive to hire him.
Either way, I am glad all of this casting news is out there. I suppose we will find out at Comic Con whether all these rumors are true.
