From superherohype.com: Latino Review's chronic scooper 'El Mayimbe' reports that actress Malin Akerman of Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle and many upcoming movies including The Invasion and The Heartbreak Kid has landed the plum role of Sally Jupiter aka The Silk Spectre in Zack (300) Snyder's take on Alan Moore and Dave Gibbon's Watchmen. Cool, she's a beautiful and talented girl. And she's Swedish which is always a plus! ;)
I think her face is very reminiscent of Dave Gibbons' illustrations of Laurie. Dye her hair and she'd be the second Silk Spectre incarnate. I've never seen her in anything, but she certainly looks the part.
